Rigorous Quality Control


We provide a managed technical department that provides total technical solution to our customers. This includes Supplier Approval and Monitoring, New Product Development, Specification Management and Technical Management.

Supplier Approval & Monitoring

It is a prerequisite that all sites must be accredited to BRC – Global Food Standards. Prior to supply, all manufacturing sites are subject to an independent approval audit to ensure that all aspects of Food Safety, Quality and legality are being met. Once approved, sites are closely monitored by our Compliance Managers’ to ensure the factory standards are maintained by undertaking scheduled audits against our Manufacturing Standard. We continually strive to improve our suppliers performance by setting challenging quality performance targets in line with customers’ expectations.

Specification Management

Our on-site team are fully conversant with all foodservice and retail web based specification management systems. This enables us to quickly build specifications for approved products, and speed up the product launch. They are also responsible for creating and approving artwork, and facilitating the printing of packaging. As we develop products against a number of different categories, the Specification Managers have a wide breadth of knowledge in food law, and are an invaluable source of pack copy legal advice.

Technical Management

Our technical management team are the ambassadors of product quality. They work hand in hand with the customers to provide a bespoke technical service in all aspects of technical management. Product quality standards are closely monitored by undertaking scheduled evaluation taste panels with customers, and Quality Improvement Plans are initiated where appropriate. We act as the interface between the manufacturer and the customer, ensuring that continual improvement plans are implemented, quality standards are maintained or exceeded, and traceability systems are robust.
